Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred CHT or CHS hyperbaric certification.
• Completion of HBO Safety course within the last 5 years.
• Completion of an approved Hyperbaric Medicine Introductory course.
• Active healthcare professional certification/licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers and support systems safely.
• Administer HBO therapy per Hyperbaric Provider’s orders and monitor patient responses.
• Enter data for daily treatments and wound care visits; maintain patient records.
• Ensure equipment and supplies meet safety standards before use; manage upgrades/repairs.
• Lead the hyperbaric safety program and conduct quarterly drills; train staff as needed.
• Maintain NFPA 99 compliance and support department policies and safety docs.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

CHT or CHS certification preferred

Hyperbaric Oxygen Safety course (pre or post hire) within 5 years

Hyperbaric Medicine Introductory course (listed providers)

Current healthcare professional license/certification as applicable (RN, EMT, CMA, etc.)
