Jacobs Engineering Group, based in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a senior hydrogeologist to lead investigations of contaminated media and evaluate data for remedial actions. You’ll split your time between fieldwork (≈25%) and office tasks like data evaluation, report writing, and hydrogeologic modeling, while keeping safety as a top priority.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in hydrogeology/geology, 10+ years of field experience, WA Geologist/Hydrogeologist licenses, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geology or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience leading investigations of various contaminated media and data evaluation.
• Field work methodology and procedures in environmental industry.
• Hydrogeologic models for contaminant fate and transport.
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification or ability to attain it.
• Washington State Licensed Geologist and Hydrogeologist.

Responsabilités

• Lead investigations of contaminated media (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment).
• Visit project sites and balance fieldwork with data evaluation, report writing, and planning documents.
• Develop hydrogeologic models and evaluate data for remedial actions.
• Prioritize safety and uphold Health & Safety standards.
• Collaborate with team and mentor junior staff.
