Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group is seeking a geoscientist to design and manage soil, groundwater, and surface water investigations. You will lead teams, manage field logistics, and ensure high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

The role offers hybrid work balancing office and project site time, with opportunities to collaborate across teams and with clients and regulators. A PG license and relevant certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology or related field and ability to obtain PG license.
• Experience in environmental consulting and field investigations.
• Ability to travel up to 50%–75% and work hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design, perform, or oversee soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations.
• Build teams of colleagues and subcontractors and coordinate fieldwork logistics.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulators.
