Job summary

SANY America is seeking an experienced Principal Hydraulic Systems Engineer to lead the design of high-capacity loader hydraulics in Peachtree City, GA. You will guide cross-functional teams, review architectures, and ensure performance, reliability, and safety across the platform.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and field teams, drive validation, and uphold standards while shaping the roadmap for next-generation off-highway equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in mobile hydraulics design, technical leadership and field validation.
• Working knowledge of load-sensing hydraulic systems, pumps/valves/cylinders, simulation, thermal performance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for high-capacity loader hydraulic architectures and design reviews.
• Evaluate pumps, valves, cylinders and cooling components; guide supplier technical selection.
• Lead field troubleshooting, validation standards, simulation methods and knowledge transfer.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve design issues and support product launch and continuous improvement.
