SANY America, located in Peachtree City, GA, is seeking a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to design, develop, and validate mining loader hydraulic systems for off-highway applications. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and field teams to deliver reliable equipment while pursuing a growth strategy in the Americas.

The role emphasizes energy efficiency improvements for hybrid/electric platforms, strong documentation practices, and leadership in cross-functional design

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, fluid power or related engineering.
• 4+ years in mobile hydraulic circuit design and component selection.
• Knowledge of hydraulic schematics, routing, energy efficiency, FMEA, supplier quality and prototype troubleshooting.

Hydraulic Systems Engineer – Mining Loaders

ABOUT THE ROLE

SANY America is seeking an engineer to design, develop and validate mining loader systems for demanding off-highway applications. The position collaborates with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and field teams to deliver reliable and competitive equipment.

With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase its market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design hydraulic circuits, select components and develop routing, BOMs and test documentation.
• Improve energy efficiency for hybrid and electrically driven machines.
• Troubleshoot field issues, complete FMEA and benchmarking, and coordinate supplier PPAP activities.

Quality, Safety & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and support product launch and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear engineering documentation and follow applicable product safety, quality, and company standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, fluid power or related engineering.
• 4+ years in mobile hydraulic circuit design and component selection.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic schematics, routing, energy efficiency, FMEA, supplier quality and prototype troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage priorities, communicate technical findings, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with off-highway construction or mining equipment, hybrid/electric platforms, and international engineering or supplier teams.
• Experience with FMEA, prototype validation, root-cause analysis, and structured design reviews.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

OFFICE-BASED (ENGINEERING + TEST / PROTOTYPE VISITS)

This role is primarily office-based, involving computer-aided design, analysis, engineering reviews, and minimal physical exertion. Occasional work in prototype, test, manufacturing, or equipment environments may require standing, walking, PPE, and exposure to noise, moving equipment, or varying temperatures.

Occasional (up to 25%)
