Job summary

LVI Associates partners with a well-established engineering consultancy to find an H&H Project Manager in Mississippi and the Southeast. You will lead hydraulics and drainage projects, guide bridge hydraulics and floodplain analyses, and mentor junior engineers while engaging with DOT clients and public-sector partners.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery oversight, and pursuing business development to grow a high-performing hydraulics practice across transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer license in MS is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for hydraulics and drainage projects.
• Manage bridge hydraulics, scour evaluations, drainage studies, and floodplain analyses.
• Lead 1D/2D hydraulic modeling efforts with industry software.
• Oversee project delivery, schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with transportation agencies and public-sector clients.
• Support business development including proposals and interviews.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with transportation, water resources, environmental and structural teams.
• Ensure FEMA compliance and floodplain management expertise across projects.
