Job summary

Jubilee Academies is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and install heating and cooling systems across the district. This full-time, exempt role reports to the District Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Director, with 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

The technician will ensure safe operations and energy efficiency district-wide. The position requires managing preventive maintenance, coordinating with staff, and responding to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC Master's preferred; valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and read gauges.
• Experience with HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Create a work environment that promotes teamwork among contractors and departments.
• Check and adjust airflows and pressure drops in systems.
• Oil or grease mechanical equipment and replace belts.
• Install compressors and set thermostats; read gauges and adjust as needed.
• Maintain district HVAC temperature settings and respond to emergencies.
