Job summary

Jubilee Academies is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and install heating and cooling systems across the district. This full-time role requires strong knowledge of HVAC practices and the ability to supervise contractor teams and district staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe operation of HVAC equipment, managing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergencies. Requires a Texas driver's license and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC Master's Preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Manager experience required.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create a work environment that promotes positive energy, creativity, and teamwork among contractors, employees, and departments.
• Checks and adjusts airflows and pressure drops in systems.
• Oils or greases mechanical equipment, changes oil in compressors and replaces belts.
• Checks and makes necessary repairs to condensers.
• Ensures water treatment equipment is working correctly at all times.
• Installs compressors, both rotary and reciprocating, reads gauges, sets thermostats, and adjusts when necessary.
• Ensures temperature settings at all facilities are aligned with district's designated settings.
• Responds to emergency calls as needed.
