Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and service calls with the customer.
• Support onsite service technicians and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Maintain required trade licenses and certifications.
• Comply with EPA Section 608 requirements and all applicable safety regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Participate in required safety training.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Lead On-Site HVAC Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Marlborough, MA. This role is responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance and service activities, scheduling work with the customer, supporting onsite technicians, and ensuring all maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (On-site)
Compensation

• Pay: $48–$58 per hour (based on experience)
• Overtime: Available

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and service calls with the customer.
• Support onsite service technicians and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, including:
  • Heating and ventilation equipment
  • Pumps and fans
  • Boilers and chillers
  • Refrigeration systems
  • Sterilizers and cage washers
• Maintain required trade licenses and certifications.
• Comply with EPA Section 608 requirements and all applicable safety regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Participate in required safety training.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
• Clean driving record
• Building Management System (BMS) or Building Automation experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions while safely performing commercial HVAC maintenance and repairs.
