LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Licensed HVAC Service Technician to join its field-based team in Massachusetts. The role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial and light industrial HVAC systems across a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate has a Massachusetts Refrigeration License and EPA certification, 4+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, and a proven ability to work independently in the field while upholding safety standards and customer

• Valid Massachusetts Refrigeration License required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV, split systems).
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections for optimal performance.
• Respond to service calls and communicate findings with clients.
• Complete service orders and documentation accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with dispatch to prioritize workload.
• Mentor junior technicians and support team development.
• Ensure safety compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV, split systems, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance
• Respond to service calls and effectively communicate findings with clients
• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with dispatch and service management to prioritize and complete workload

Qualifications
