Job summary
New England Mechanical Services in Marlborough, MA seeks an experienced Lead Operations/Maintenance Technician to coordinate support for onsite service technicians and ensure that service calls and preventive maintenance are organized and performed safely and on time. This on-site role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC experience, can work independently, and will contribute to client satisfaction by owning the service needs.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License.
- EPA 608 Universal refrigerant handling certification required.
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and controls.
- Clean driving record is required.
- BMS or automation experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and related systems.
- Ensure service calls and PMs are scheduled safely and on time.
- Interact with the client professionally and maintain PPE protocols.
- Flex to overtime and weekends as demand requires.
