Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades in Marlborough, MA seeks an experienced Lead On-Site HVAC Technician for direct hire. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, schedule service calls with customers, and support onsite technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial HVAC and mechanical systems such as boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, and refrigeration.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License is required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service/maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and service calls with customers.
• Support onsite service technicians and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems (boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, refrigeration).
• Maintain safety compliance and proper PPE usage.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Lead On-Site HVAC Technician for a direct hire opportunity inMarlborough, MA.This role is responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance and service activities, scheduling work with the customer, supporting onsite technicians, and ensuring all maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (On-site)

Compensation

• Pay: $48–$58 per hour (based on experience)
• Overtime: Available

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and service calls with the customer.
• Support onsite service technicians and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, including: Heating and ventilation equipment
• Pumps and fans
• Boilers and chillers
• Refrigeration systems
• Sterilizers and cage washers

• Maintain required trade licenses and certifications.
• Comply with EPA Section 608 requirements and all applicable safety regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Participate in required safety training.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License (required)
• EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
• Clean driving record
• Building Management System (BMS) or Building Automation experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions while safely performing commercial HVAC maintenance and repairs.
