Job summary

SST Direct seeks an experienced Lead On-Site HVAC Technician for a direct hire position in Marlborough, MA. The role coordinates preventive maintenance, schedules work with customers, supports on-site technicians, and ensures all maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site work, and competitive compensation. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSA/FSA, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License (required).
• EPA 608 Universal Certification (required).
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Clean driving record.
• Building Management System (BMS) or Building Automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and service calls with the customer.
• Support onsite service technicians and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems: HVAC equipment, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, sterilizers and cage washers.
• Maintain required trade licenses and certifications.
• Comply with EPA Section 608 and all safety regulations.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; provide professional customer service.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Lead On-Site HVAC Technician for a direct hire opportunity inMarlborough, MA. This role is responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance and service activities, scheduling work with the customer, supporting onsite technicians, and ensuring all maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (On-site)

Compensation

• Pay: $48-58 per hour (based on experience)
• Overtime: Available

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions while safely performing commercial HVAC maintenance and repairs.
