Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a skilled HVAC Start Up / Commissioning Technician for our Henderson, NC team. The role supports field trades and third-party contractors, overseeing startup, commissioning, and safety-critical tasks with a focus on effective repairs and scenario execution.

Must have 5+ years in HVAC or equivalent training, and strong familiarity with multiple systems. Excellent problem solving, record-keeping, and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field or equivalent
• Previous experience in an operational and customer facing role
• In-depth knowledge of two or more disciplines: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, generator, or controls
• Excellent building services knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions
• Adherence to company policy and ability to work assigned schedules

Responsibilities

• Assist in the set up and implementation of HVAC systems, starting them up and programming them
• Coordinate with clients to schedule and perform tasks
• Supervise tasks and projects
• Evaluate and implement safety improvements
• Maintain inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance records
• Manage employee time records and daily activity reports
• Participate in safety inspections and risk assessments
• Test new equipment to design specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned
