Job summary
Jennings Mechanical in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to lead our service department, handle complex calls, and mentor junior technicians. You will oversee diagnostics, repairs, and advanced maintenance of DX, chilled water, and hydronic systems.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of HVAC service experience, EPA 608 certification, strong control system knowledge, and a proven leadership track record.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of HVAC service experience, including commercial systems.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls, refrigerants, and system design.
- Factory training preferred (willing to provide as needed).
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair for complex HVAC systems.
- Perform advanced maintenance and control system analysis.
- Lead and mentor junior service technicians.
- Provide accurate job estimates and communicate with customers and team.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Assist with service scheduling and technical support as needed.
