Job summary

The K Company Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Project Manager for Mechanical Construction. You will lead planning, procurement, and coordination of HVAC systems across commercial projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will manage subcontractors, review drawings, and apply your technical knowledge to deliver safe, compliant installations with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or HVAC project management (commercial/industrial preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and mechanical systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and understand project scope and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate equipment, subs, and schedules with general contractors and MEP subcontractors.
• Lead meetings with the construction team to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are controlled.
• Ensure safety plans and quality installation standards are followed.
• Monitor progress, analyze performance, and manage change orders and billing.
