Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions is seeking an HVAC Master Mechanic to install, service and repair environmental-control systems in residences, department stores, and office buildings. You will work from blueprints, mount compressors, fabricate ductwork, and connect controls to power sources, ensuring efficiency and safety.

The role requires 5–7 years journey-level HVAC experience and completion of an HVAC apprenticeship, with Freon recovery certification and strong knowledge of codes and standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years journey-level HVAC experience.
• Completion of HVAC apprenticeship.
• Freon recovery certificate.
• Ability to interpret codes, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of ISO 9002 and JCAHO standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair HVAC systems in varied settings.
• Fabricate and install ductwork and chasses per specs.
• Test systems, observe gauges and check for leaks.
• Operate and adjust boilers and chillers up to large capacities.
• Maintain and repair walk-ins, cold storage and environmental systems.
