Job summary

CoolSys is hiring for a Journeyman/ senior role in the HVAC and refrigeration sector. The position involves leading technical resources on multiple projects, reporting progress, and maintaining cost controls. Travel up to 90% may be required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, strong organizational and leadership abilities, and a focus on safety and policy compliance. Excellent teamwork across customers, GCs, and subcontractors is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 5+ years in commercial building construction or related industry/trade.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage time.
• Ability to use good judgment in making work assignments.
• Ability to ensure safe work practices and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Technical resource on assigned projects.
• Report on job status and performance.
• Control job costs and manage budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers, customers, GCs and subcontractors.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety behavior by all employees.
• Ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures.
• Oversee 3rd party resources.
• Direct and oversee Journeyman and Apprentices on projects.
