Lead HVAC Installer-Journeyman: Responsible for installations of new HVAC units and materials according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.

Lead HVAC Installer-Journeyman: Responsible for installations of new HVAC units and materials according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Requires minimum 4 years of experience in the field. EPA Certification A PLUS.
• NATE Certification requested.
• Continued Education is expected.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• Reports to immediate supervisor, Foreman.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• The candidate should be able to think outside the box.
• Shall lead by example and arrive on time ready to work.

Other duties

• Daily scheduling with Foreman.
• Works well with our Team but also a “Self Starter” - can work with very limited supervision.
• Extensive Customer/Contractor Relations.
• Following through /updating job schedules.
• Orchestrating your crew deployment on a daily basis, in a timely manner.
• Communicate with foreman/office as to job status.
• Assuring weekly crew member’s time entered daily– evaluating yellow job files for completeness daily.
• Sheet metal fabrication possible.
• Ability to perform all Journeyman Duties.
• Familiarity and ability to diagnose HVAC equipment and recognize equipment needs and/or repairs if, necessary
