Job summary

A-Abel Family of Companies is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to oversee and perform the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of installers, ensure installations meet code and quality standards, maintain safety and documentation, and deliver excellent service and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installation of HVAC systems: Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components.
• Team leadership and supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC installers, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Quality control: Inspect completed installations to ensure quality standards and client expectations; troubleshoot issues.
• Safety and compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and comply with regulations and codes.
• Customer service: Interact professionally with clients, addressing questions and concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain records of installations and report progress to supervisors.

2. Team Leadership and Supervision:
   • Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC installers, providing guidance, training, and support.
   • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
3. Quality Control:
   • Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.

   • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and environmental guidelines.
5. Customer Service:

6. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of installations, including work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
