Job summary

Grapids Home Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer Lead to join our on-site team. You will manage installation projects, read blueprints and schematics, and ensure work meets code and client requirements. Training and growth opportunities are available as part of our ongoing on-site program.

You will lead a team, coordinate layouts, and communicate clearly with homeowners about status and progress while supporting daily operations and company goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred.
• 4+ years HVAC installation experience; 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• EPA Section 608 certification required; NATE certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to read blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC installation tasks with focus on quality and safety.
• Lead and supervise install crews; coordinate job layouts per code and customer needs.
• Communicate with homeowners before and after service about status and next steps.
• Attend weekly trainings—technical, sales, and communication.

Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system before and after the service has been performed. Organizing project layouts based on current code and customers’ needs. Attend and participate in weekly technical, sales, and communication trainings.
