Job summary

gpac is recruiting for a Lead HVAC Installer in St. Louis, MO, onsite. This full-time role involves leading a small crew on residential and light commercial installations, from start to finish.

You will ensure systems are set, started, and running properly before handoff, with focus on safety, quality, and customer communication. Required are 7+ years of HVAC installation experience with crew leadership, RTU installation experience, brazing and refrigerant handling skills, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HVAC installation experience, including time leading a crew.
• Proven light commercial RTU installation experience plus residential install work.
• Strong hands on skills with brazing, refrigerant handling, and startup procedures.
• Stable work history and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential changeouts and new installs, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Set and install light commercial rooftop units up to 30 tons, including curbs, ductwork connections, and gas and electrical hookups.
• Direct helpers and installers on site and keep jobs clean, safe, and on schedule.
• Braise refrigerant lines, pressure test, evacuate, and charge systems.
• Start up, test, and troubleshoot new equipment before handoff.
• Communicate professionally with customers and the office throughout each job.

They have a strong local reputation for quality work. Steady demand is driving the need for two Lead Installers, and they are ready to hire right away.

About The Role

The Lead HVAC Installer runs residential and light commercial installs from start to finish. You will lead a small crew, own the quality of every job, and make sure each system is set, started, and running properly before handoff to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential changeouts and new installs, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
