South West Plumbing & Waterheaters Inc in Seattle is hiring an experienced HVAC installer to join a residential retrofit team. You will install, start up, and service heating and cooling systems, including duct design and fabrication, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Applicants should have 3+ years of install experience, strong customer communication, and the ability to mentor trainees. The role offers competitive hourly pay with a monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Proficient in refrigeration line brazing and sheet metal transitions.
• Able to design and install duct layouts and perform full fabrication.
• Capable of performing full system startups and zoning installations.
• Strong communication skills to discuss installs with customers.
• Leadership to mentor trainees; able to pass background check.

About Us:

Join a premier team in the residential HVAC industry, dedicated to excellence and innovation. We focus mainly on residential retrofit with some light commercial as well. We provide maintenance, service, installation, duct renovation, duct cleaning, and Aeroseal for our customers' heating and cooling systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Most competitive pay in the industry: $35-$45/hr DOE + Monthly bonus (up to $4,000)
• Schedule needed: Saturday - Wednesday starting at 7:30am
• Set weekly work schedule, always have 2 consecutive days off.

Requirements

• Experienced and Proficient in installing HVAC equipment (3+years experience preferred)
• Refrigeration line brazing/ sheet metal transition building proficiency.
• Install All HVAC comfort systems including: duct design, install layout, and full fabrication.
• Perform full system startups on all systems including zoning installations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to talk about the install with customers.
• Able to preform full system startups on all systems.Able to fabricate multi-kick transitions, offset fittings, and base cans.
• Leadership to allow trainees to grow and develop.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Clean driving record.
• Be comfortable with and physically able to safely help lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work in tight corners, and in all weather conditions.
