Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Previous experience serving as a lead installer or crew leader.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation practices.
• Understanding of airflow, ductwork, refrigerant piping, and low-voltage controls.
• Ability to read specifications and resolve field-related installation challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Professional customer communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable work history.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate residential HVAC installation crews.
• Install complete heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, and ductwork.
• Properly install and connect refrigerant lines, electrical components, and low-voltage controls.
• Complete equipment startup, testing, and commissioning.
• Confirm systems are operating properly and efficiently before completing the job.
• Interpret installation requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and make sound decisions in the field.
• Train, coach, and support junior installers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Allied Aire is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installation Technician to take charge of residential replacement and installation projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role for an installer who knows how to run a job efficiently, maintain high installation standards, and help a crew produce quality work.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

As a Lead Installer, you’ll oversee residential HVAC projects from equipment removal through startup and final testing. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and coordinate residential HVAC installation crews
• Install complete heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, and ductwork
• Properly install and connect refrigerant lines, electrical components, and low‑voltage controls
• Complete equipment startup, testing, and commissioning
