Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems. You will conduct proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

You will lead by example, assign tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Engineering and Technical Services to support building operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school or trade schooling with 4–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Able to operate and calibrate instruments used for HVAC control systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and basic database tools.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and monitor completion.
• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain HVAC control systems and related instruments.
• Inspect HVAC equipment for proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best corrective actions.
• Apply standard principles to complete complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
