Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead HVAC Controls Technician in Herndon, VA, operating on a hybrid/remote schedule. You will lead field service activities, diagnose complex issues, and mentor junior technicians to maintain high service standards.

You will report to the Senior Field Service Manager and support Honeywell Building Automation systems, focusing on uptime, customer satisfaction, and efficient operations across customer sites.

Qualifications

• Five years' field service experience, preferably in BAS.
• Strong knowledge of building control systems and energy management.
• Troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic and mechanical systems.
• Experience with diagnostic tools for BAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field service activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery for building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues on-site to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
• Mentor and guide junior field service technicians to develop their technical skills and improve service quality.
