The role requires 2-4 years in MV/HV design, a four-year engineering degree, and preferred PE/EIT. Travel up to 15% is expected; AutoCAD and ETAP are key tools used daily.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree from an accredited university or college.
• 2-4 years of electrical engineering design or engineering management experience with MV/ substation knowledge.
• PE or EIT is preferred.
• Travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV substation and transmission design for projects.
• Review contracts and assist with equipment selection.
• Coordinate with budget, estimating, and client communications.
• Lead design team meetings and field surveys.
