Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of AIS and GIS EPC substations in the United States. You will develop project design criteria and create comprehensive design packages to guide construction and operation, collaborating with sales and project management to solve challenges.

The role emphasizes adherence to industry standards, safety, and budget, driving excellence while delivering reliable energy solutions for a sustainable grid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field) and relevant certifications.
• 7–10 years in engineering roles within AIS/GIS Substations EPC.
• Strong understanding of high voltage AIS/GIS equipment and electrical engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience in HV-Substation design and construction.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
