Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a USC Site Product Cost Leader to optimize cost competitiveness for high-voltage circuit breakers and instrument transformers. You will manage cost-reduction programs and collaborate with R&D, sourcing, and finance to improve future cost trends.

Responsibilities include tracking costs, preparing monthly reports, implementing the Reflib process, supporting tender teams, and coordinating cost-out workshops.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports on cost evolutions based on the costing structure validated by Finance (EAS), based on BOM, and including all applicable cost parameters and rules.
• Develop action plans to enhance cost efficiency and product competitiveness.
• Implement the Reflib process for product cost optimization in the manufacturing unit.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (R&D, Q&A, sourcing, industrialization, sales, marketing, and finance) to consider business strategy and customer perspective, supplier processes, encourage idea generation, planning, execution, and implementation.
• Provide support to sales and tendering teams in strategic project opportunities at offer stage for definition of most effective product configurations versus customer specifications, type testing and certifications analysis and for all-in cost optimization.
• Coordinate product cost-out workshops and meetings.
• Provide product cost information and data for finance for budgeting exercise and support for cost analysis and updating in SAP.

Specific Knowledge Requirements:

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
