Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, IT Architecture in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on supporting HR and Payroll platforms, translating business needs into scalable technical designs and ensuring operational efficiency.

You will liaise with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to maintain and upgrade HCM systems, manage integration projects, and document architecture standards. Strong HRIT experience and PeopleSoft/SQR expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in HRIT with strong HR system experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a HRIT primary point of contact for HR and payroll functional team, coordinating and providing technical solutions and support of HCM systems.
• Collaborate with MSP technical team and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical design.
• Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
• Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
• Design maintainable architectural solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and patches, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal performance.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement solutions to improve efficiency and automation.
