Job summary

DLA seeks a Lead Human Resources Specialist (EDGE) to provide technical leadership for agency workforce development initiatives. You will guide a team of HR professionals and coordinate the delivery of learning programs across the organization.

You will advise leadership on workforce development needs, manage resources, and represent the agency in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, delivering briefings and status reports on program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Lead EDGE Specialist and provides technical leadership for workforce development initiatives.
• Leads a team of HR Specialists by assigning and coordinating work, monitoring progress, and guiding program execution.
• Plans, administers, and evaluates agency-wide learning, development, and engagement programs aligned with objectives.
• Oversees delivery of EDGE services, systems, tools, and processes while managing development activities and external learning.
• Advises leadership on workforce development programs, services, and resource management.
• Represents the organization in meetings with stakeholders, delivering briefings and status reports.
