Job summary

Proexec Consulting Inc. in Bellevue, Ohio is seeking an experienced Lead High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) Operator to join a manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role combines deep HPDC expertise with frontline leadership responsibilities, focusing on die setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and mentoring operators on automated casting cells and robotics (ABB, FANUC, KUKA).

Qualifications

• Strong HPDC experience required.
• Hands-on with die casting equipment and processes.
• Experience mentoring and leading floor teams on a production line.

Responsibilities

• Lead HPDC operations on the floor and report to Production Manager.
• Oversee die setup, changeovers, and process adjustments.
• Troubleshoot casting defects, gate and venting issues, and optimize processes.
• Mentor and train operators; support frontline leadership objectives.

Job description

I’m recruiting for an experienced Lead High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) Operator for a manufacturing facility in Bellevue, Ohio.

This role reports to the Production Manager and is ideal for someone who is a true HPDC specialist — strong technically, hands-on with the equipment, and ready to take on more frontline leadership responsibility.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in:

• Die setup, changeovers and process adjustments
• Troubleshooting casting defects, gating and venting
• Molten metal and furnace operations
• Automated casting cells and robotics — ABB, FANUC, KUKA or similar
• Training and mentoring operators
• Shift Lead, Team Lead, Senior Operator or similar floor leadership experience

This is similar in scope to a Production Manager role, but at a lower experience level and much more hands-on.

The key requirement is simple: strong HPDC experience.
