Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Lead HP NonStop Engineer to analyze business requirements and deliver quality technical solutions within the securities back office. You will participate in the full software lifecycle, developing, testing, and maintaining applications for BOM Corporate Actions modernization and regulatory netting efforts.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, collaboration across teams, and the ability to work in a distributed environment with hybrid onsite/remote options.

Qualifications

• More than five years of relevant development/engineering experience.
• Experience with HP NonStop COBOL85, HPNS SQL/MX and SQL/MP.
• Pathway servers and configuration experience; HP NonStop/Tandem Guardian OS apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify applications during the SDLC lifecycle.
• Lead project tasks, coordinate efforts, and monitor performance.
• Test, implement, and support software within budget and schedule.
• Advise on new technologies to meet business needs and opportunities.
• Create technical/user documentation and ensure recoverability.
