Job summary

Extended Stay America in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a full-time lead housekeeper to support the management team in overseeing cleaning standards, training, and continuous improvement. The role works with the maintenance technician on preventive maintenance and deep cleaning programs while supervising daily housekeeping tasks.

The ideal candidate will have prior hotel experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous hotel experience required.
Ability to train and supervise multiple staff.
Ability to inspect guest rooms and maintain cleanliness to standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee cleaning standards and assist management in housekeeping tasks.
Train new and existing housekeepers and inspect guest rooms.
Ensure housekeeping carts and laundry areas meet company standards.
Coordinate with maintenance for guest room preventative maintenance and deep cleaning.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks and assist with weekend cleaning as needed.
Support management with daily operations and departmental initiatives.
Complete all required training and safety programs.
