Job summary

Staffmark Group in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring a Housekeeper to help keep our building clean every day. You will handle basic cleaning jobs and ensure rooms are ready for the next shift, including beds, linens, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and customer service attitude.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms: make beds, change linens, vacuum, dust, and mop.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms; restock towels and toiletries.
• Empty trash and keep rooms neat and guest-ready.
• Check rooms for maintenance issues and report as needed.
• Refill guest amenities (soap, shampoo, towels).
• Maintain housekeeping cart clean, stocked, and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
• Respond to guest requests quickly and professionally.
• Report lost and found items.
• Work with team to keep operations running smoothly.
