Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Carson City to oversee all housekeeping activities for the hotel, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction while controlling expenses. You will inspect rooms, train staff, address guest concerns, manage inventory, and coordinate with maintenance and front desk to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in rooms management, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Rooms Management or a related management position.
• Hotel experience preferred and strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed by the business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Staff Training and Supervision: Train and supervise housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and guest service standards.
• Guest Interaction: Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Inventory Management: Manage cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Collaboration: Work with maintenance and front desk to ensure rooms are ready for guests and smooth operations.
• Quality Control: Conduct audits and spot checks to ensure quality control.
