Job summary

Valor seeks a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to lead hotel housekeeping operations in a fast-paced setting. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper or Director of Housekeeping, you will oversee cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction while protecting assets and controlling costs.

You will train and supervise staff, conduct regular room inspections, and collaborate with maintenance and front desk to ensure rooms are ready for guests and operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Rooms Management or a related management position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong leadership qualities, the ability to motivate staff, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed by the business.

Responsibilities

• Regularly supervise housekeeping activities to ensure highest cleanliness standards.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping promptly and professionally.
• Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Collaborate with maintenance and front desk to ensure rooms are ready for guests and operations run smoothly.
• Conduct regular audits and spot checks to ensure quality and consistency.
