Job summary

The Courtyard Marriott Pittsburgh University Center is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team, supervising and developing associates, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring cleanliness and service standards.

Concord Hospitality is seeking a hands-on leader to train, coach, and inspire the team while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in collaboration with Front Desk and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of housekeeping or hotel housekeeping experience.
• Ability to inspect guest rooms and public areas to standards.
• Experience supervising and developing associates and coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Train, mentor, and hold team members accountable while supporting their professional development.
• Collaborate with Front Desk and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor supplies, inventory, and departmental efficiency, implementing improvements as needed.
• Uphold property, brand, and regulatory standards in all operations.
