Job summary

Method Co. is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations at The Nickel Hotel in Charleston. You will inspect guest rooms and public spaces, train and support staff, and ensure cleanliness and brand standards while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and adept at motivating teams in a hospitality setting. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and physical stamina for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
• Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public areas meet brand standards
• Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and common spaces
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff to ensure consistency and quality
• Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and daily workflow management
• Monitor inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
• Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with engineering as needed
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols at all times
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment rooted in hospitality and respect
