Job summary

Battle House Hotel and Spa is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to coordinate daily housekeeping and laundry operations, lead a team, and ensure impeccable guest service. You will monitor linen supply, inventory, and schedules to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with AAA standards and internal SOPs.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and proactive problem-solving to deliver a spotless guest experience across all areas of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily sign-in/out of master keys/section keys, ensuring proper tracking and security.
• Assign daily special assignments to housekeepers for extra cleaning duties (high/low dusting, coffee pot cleaning).
• Monitor linen orders and conduct bi-monthly inventory checks for linen and amenity supplies.
• Ensure floors are stocked with requested linens and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Take responsibility for AAA inspection rooms to meet or exceed AAA guidelines.
• Enforce Linen SOP to ensure rules and regulations are followed and safety is maintained.
• Oversee weekly inventory, ordering, and maintenance of cleaning supplies, guest supplies, and uniforms.
• Review inspection room requirements during pre-shift meetings and schedule staffing accordingly.
• Maintain appropriate linen par levels and order new linen based on seasonal demands.
• Notify and follow up on equipment repairs to keep laundry and housekeeping operations smooth.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping Manager to develop a comprehensive cleaning schedule.
• Monitor attendance, tardiness, and call-offs to maintain a reliable workforce.
• Inspect linens for damages and ensure proper usage and distribution throughout the day.
