Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound is seeking a Lead Housekeeper for Environmental Services to manage housekeeping operations on evenings. The role includes training staff, supervising in the supervisor's absence, and ensuring clean and safe patient areas.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• One year of supervisory or lead housekeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Six months related experience required.
• Experience in a hospital or hotel setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean and reline trash containers.
• Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
• Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets. Sanitize and spot clean.
• Performs duties of supervisor in their absence.
• Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
• Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.

Work hours: Full Time; Evenings, 3pm-11:30pm; 40 hours per week, with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend

Here’s What You Need
