Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a full-time Housekeeper in Environmental Services at Texas Health Flower Mound, 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028. Work hours are 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours per week with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.

You will clean patient areas, sanitize restrooms, handle waste, and assist with bed making as needed during discharge or transfer. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months related experience, and

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months related experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or hotel setting strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean and reline trash containers.
• Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets. Sanitize and spot clean.
• Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer, including removal of clinical equipment and soiled linen.
• Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.

Here’s What You Need
