Texas Health Resources' Texas Health Cleburne location is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This full-time day position involves cleaning assigned areas, replenishing linen and supplies, reporting broken equipment, and supporting infection control and patient care across the facility. The role requires HS diploma (preferred), up to 6 months related experience, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to work independently; flexible in assignments; able to work around housekeeping chemicals; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines; tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, linen handling, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish linen and supplies (paper towels, trash bags, toilet tissue, etc.) in assigned area.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare for next service period.
• Keep equipment clean and report any broken equipment to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working independently, setting priorities, and being flexible in assignments. Able to work around housekeeping chemicals. Full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.

What You Will Do:

• Clean assigned area(s) according procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, pulling trash, pulling dirty linen, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers and beds.
• Replenish linen and other supplies i.e., paper towels, trash bags, toilet tissue, etc. in assigned area.
• Replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period.
• Responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
