General Hotels Corporation is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and equipment across our hotel properties. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests, and ensure safety and compliance with standards.

The role requires strong plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge, plus the ability to read manuals and schematics. A team player with excellent problem-solving and communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and friendly, professional manner.
• Inspect and maintain all guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
