Qualifications

• Six months of section housekeeper experience in hotel or related service industry.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in a language understood by subordinates, guests and management.
• Must possess skill to follow through for positive results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all assigned guest rooms daily to ensure quality service.
• Train and monitor housekeepers on daily responsibilities and safety rules.
• Update housekeeping management on progress and status; complete required forms and reports.
• Report safety hazards, theft, and items needing repair to management.
• Teach and monitor proper handling of guest areas for cleanliness.
• Inspect vending areas, storerooms and stairwells for cleanliness.
• Notify laundry of linen requirements for early checkouts.
• Respond to guest requests and problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with daily cleaning of rooms during peak periods.
