Job summary

StudioRes Prattville is opening and seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering department. You will manage budgets, oversee maintenance plans, supervise staff, and ensure safety and compliance across all systems.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include overseeing all engineering operations and staff, enforcing safety policies, managing budgets, and ensuring preventive maintenance.
• Lead and train engineering personnel, schedule work orders, monitor overtime.
• Ensure life safety systems are inspected and compliant with standards.
• Participate in energy conservation and ADA compliance initiatives.
• Oversee vendor contracts and inventory for mechanical, electrical, and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer the hotel engineering department.
• Maintain property and assets to high standards.
• Ensure emergency equipment inspection and compliance per standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and staff training.
• Coordinate with front desk on alarms, safety, and operations.
