Job summary

Peachtree Group's Homewood Suites by Hilton Prattville is opening and seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and safety operations. You will oversee refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy use while supporting preventive maintenance programs and guest comfort.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll ensure projects meet specifications, enforce OSHA lockout-tagout procedures, and maintain equipment logs.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for hotel facilities.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and energy monitoring.
• Ensure safety procedures and OSHA lockout-tagout practices are followed.
• Perform guestroom and public area preventive maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and managers to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional and courteous service.
• Maintains all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues across facilities (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Monitors energy consumption (electric, gas, water).
• Ensures projects are completed to specifications and on time.
• Performs maintenance checks and logs accurately.
• Reports safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
• Ensures proper inventory control of keys and equipment.
• Participates in maintenance programs for event spaces and kitchens.
• Attends staff meetings and completes projects as assigned.

Join the opening team at Homewood Suites by Hilton Prattville as our Engineering Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and team members. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and maintaining the highest standards of facility performance and guest satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
• Maintains all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, convention center front and
• back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
• Monitors electric, gas and water consumption.
• Ensures all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time.
• Understands and practices all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Perform all guestroom and public area preventive maintenance services as outlined for your hotel.
• Performs maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly.
• Reports all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or the Manager on Duty immediately.
• Ensures all key inventories are secure.
• Responds to all emergency situations prepared to assist.
• Participates in ongoing maintenance programs for event space, public space, kitchens, and all convention center equipment.
• Performs inventory duties as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of grounds and attractiveness of landscaping.
• Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all workspace and storage areas.
• Attends monthly staff meetings.
• Completes projects as determined by the Chief Engineer.
