Job summary

StudioRes Prattville, a newly built extended-stay hotel in Prattville, AL, seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering department as part of our opening team. You will help shape the guest experience, establish operational excellence, and build a positive team culture from day one.

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the safe and profitable operation of the hotel engineering department, overseeing budget, schedules, maintenance, vendor contracts, and life-safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train engineering staff in SOPs and Loss Prevention standards.
• Adhere to the annual department budget and post staff schedules.
• Maintain property, equipment, grounds and assets in good repair.
• Ensure emergency and life safety equipment is inspected, tested and certified.
• Respond promptly to room maintenance requests and alarms, coordinating with front desk.
