Job summary
The Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa in Hilton Head Island, SC seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee engineering, maintenance and life-safety operations for all resort facilities, guestrooms and public areas. Qualifications
- Experience leading hotel or large facility maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and life safety.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and work orders.
- Experience supervising vendors and contractors with safety focus.
- Familiarity with regulations, codes and energy management.
- Budgeting, cost control and inventory management skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for all systems.
- Manage repairs and oversee guestroom and public-area maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
- Lead and schedule the engineering team and manage budgets.
