Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Hilton Head Island, SC, seeks a seasoned Engineering & Facilities leader to manage all engineering operations, budgets, and preventive maintenance, with a focus on safety and asset protection. You will drive capital projects and energy efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong guest safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED with 4 years in engineering/maintenance or a 2-year degree with related experience; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4 years in engineering and maintenance or related area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years of related experience; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations, including budget and capital expenditure management, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation.
• Lead safety, asset protection, regulatory compliance, and emergency response for the property.
• Supervise day-to-day Engineering operations and ensure equipment and systems are operating efficiently.
